Gerardo Ruiz Maldonado has taught art classes in etching, printmaking, painting and drawing in art schools such as the Instituto Allende as well as art schools that he has founded with other artists living in San Miguel de Allende. Gerardo Ruiz Maldonado has been an artist his entire life. He graduated from the renowned art school San Carlos is Mexico City. He taught as an art professor of the visual arts in major universities Mexico City for close to 25 years teaching art classes such as etching, printmaking, painting and drawing. He worked as a sculptor and artist and the etchings, drawings and paintings of Gerardo Ruiz Maldonado have won awards. Gerardo Ruiz Maldonado has shown his art, his etchings, drawings and paintings in art galleries in Mexico as well as abroad.
